Billy B. Kerr was born on November 05, 1931, in Savannah, Tennessee, the son of the late Norman Patterson and Clara Minnie McLean Kerr.

On August 02, 1953, he was united in marriage to Jane Love Kerr, who survives. 

Billy owned and operated a John Deer Dealership in Savannah, Tennessee. He was a member of Mount Hermon Baptist Church where he was Senior Deacon. Billy graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He enjoyed farming and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Billy B. Kerr departed this life on August 01, 2024, in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 92 years, 8 months, and 27 days.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Jane Kerr; daughters, Tammy Johnson (Phil) of Langston, Alabama, Sheree' Smith (Tim) of Crockett, Texas, Cynthia Hosea (Rodney) of Savannah, Tennessee; son, Christopher Kerr of Savannah, Tennessee; sister, Sue Hopper of Lakeland, Florida; grandchildren, Wes Standfield, Kody Smith, Ethan Hosea, Kameron Kerr, Adrienne Hosea, Kyle Earnest, Hannah Earnest, and Logan Kerr; and eleven great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy Cooper, Elizabeth Smith, Latisha Bain, and Geneva Felker; brother, Bobby Kerr; and grandchild, Whitney Wilkerson.
