Bill "Snooks" White

Bill (Snooks) White was born December 28, 1938 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Eula and Ottis Nichols White.
He was united in marriage to Brenda Baker. Mrs. White preceded him in death on December 10, 2011.
Everyone who knew Mr. White, affectionately called him Bill or Snooks. He was a member of the Michie First Baptist Church. He served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. For many years, he was a truck driver and also served as constable in Michie, TN. He enjoyed gardening, giving to others, playing dominos, riding back roads, and listening to old gospel music. Snooks loved playing pranks and jokes on his family and friends.
Mr. White departed this life on February 5, 2023 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 84 Years, 1 Month, 8 Days. He is survived by a son, Brett White of Michie, TN; a sister, Martha Mulberger and husband Bob; special niece/caretaker, Maurica Ross; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. White was preceded in death by a brother, William Audrey White.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM on February 10, 2023 with services at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer, Tennessee, with Bro. Ben Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Pebble Hill Cemetery at Michie, Tennessee.
