Bill Scott was born on December 1, 1928 in Waterloo, Alabama the son of the late Henry and Mary Northcutt Scott.
On December 30, 1944 he was united in marriage to the former Evelyn Franks, who preceded her husband in death on May 16, 2002. Mr. Scott was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and was retired from his job in steel manufacturing. He was also a Mason.
He departed this life on September 2, 2005 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 76 years, 9 months and 1 day.
Mr. Scott is survived by
his daughter, Nancy Gean and her husband, Larry, of Savannah, Tennessee;
2 grandchildren: Tina Plunk and her husband, Randy, of Bolivar, Tennessee, Scotty Gean and his wife, Kristi, of Savannah, Tennessee;
3 great-grandchildren: Jake Plunk and Clint Plunk, both of Bolivar,
Mackenzie Gean of Savannah;
and one sister, Annabelle Qualls of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to his wife, Evelyn Franks Scott, and his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Grace Barker.
