Bill Scott



was born in Savannah, Tennessee on June 14, 1946 the son of the late Cecil and Loise Cossey Scott.



Mr. Scott was a retired sawmill worker and logger, having worked for Granville Williams, Benson Logging, J.B. Smith Logging, and Ingle Sawmill. He was a life long member of the Walnut Grove Community. He loved the outdoors, carpenter work, mechanic work, camping, and fishing.



Mr. Scott departed this life on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at his residence at the age of 62 years, 9 months, 12 days.



Mr. Scott is survived by 2 sons, Ronald Scott, Donald Scott and wife Letisha all of Savannah, Tennessee; a daughter, Donna (Punk) Scott Wilkerson and husband David of Savannah, Tennessee; 2 brothers, Jerry Scott and Wilburn Scott both of Savannah, Tennessee; 4 sisters, Martha Sutton of Decatur, Alabama, Ardie Mae Stricklin, Anna Lou Wilder, and Mildred Barrier all of Savannah, Tennessee; 7 grandchildren, Rayna Talley, Dustin Wilkerson, Cecil Scott, Haley Scott, Lindsay Scott, Josh Scott, and step-grandson, Cameron Wilkerson; his companion of 12 years, Annie Fay Benson; his other special children, Cleatus, Tommy Dewayne, and Vernie Benson all of Savannah, Tennessee, Barbara Hancock, Bonnie Hogan, Laura Vinson, Becky Highland, Stanley and Miranda Benson, Michael and David Hancock, Rocky and Rusty Benson, Corey, Dustin Nakia, and Kavin Benson, Toby and River Highland, Jaden and Becca Smith, Cody and Dakoda Vinson, Shelby Benson, Morissa and D.J. Hogan, Timothy and Chevy Williams, Katlynn, Patrick, and Christian Hancock, Kennon and Kailyn Benson; a host of nieces and nephews.
