Bill Roland

Bill Roland was born October 6, 1938 in Leapwood, Tennessee the son of the late Prett and Hassie Inman Roland.He was united in marriage to Gail Herring on October 20, 1956. Mr. Roland was owner and operator of the BP Gas Station in Adamsville for over 16 years. Before buying the gas station, he had worked at Brown Shoe Factory. He enjoyed landscaping and working in his yard.Mr. Roland departed this life on February 28, 2008 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 69 Years, 4 Months, 22 Days. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Gail Roland of Adamsville, TN; a son, Dennis Roland and wife Gayle of Savannah, TN; a daughter, Judy Bigbie of Purdy, TN; a brother, Lonnie Roland of Adamsville, TN; seven grandchildren, Prett Roland, Amanda Bruce, Amie Roland, Barry Keith Roland, Jesse Roland, Hassie Bigbie, and Billy Bigbie; five great grandchildren, Molly Bruce, Morgan Bruce, Kyle Roland, Kara Roland, and McKenna Roland.In addition to his parents, Mr. Roland was preceded in death by two sons, Keith Roland and Barry Joe Roland.
