Mr. Bill Bryant, age 79 of Spanish Fort, Alabama, departed this life Wednesday evening, February 10, 2016 at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, Alabama.
Mr. Bryant was born in Kenton, Tennessee Monday, October 19, 1936 to Roberta Bryant of Bolivar, who survives, and the late Travis Clark Bryant. On May 28, 1955, he was united in marriage to June Cross Bryant.
A 1954 graduate of Bolivar Central High School, he served his country in the United States Air Force as a fighter pilot for 22 years, retiring as a Major in 1976. From 1983 until the time of his death, he worked as a Certified Public Accountant. He also worked in corporate finance as a hospital accountant for Wichita Falls Hospital for 9 years, and for Methodist Hospital in Memphis for 16 years. In 2013, he and his wife moved to Spanish Fort, Alabama.
Among his hobbies, he enjoyed golfing, fishing and dove hunting. He was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Bolivar, where he had formerly served as Treasurer.
In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include his son, Mike Bryant and wife Jennifer of Pasadena, California; three sisters, Barbara Robinson, Anita Brooks, and Patsy Myers and husband Bobby, all of Bolivar; three grandchildren, Cole Bryant and wife Heather, Henry Bryant and Teddy Bryant; and two great-grandchildren, Annie Bryant and Rhett Bryant.
