Beverly "Bet" Austin Gilbert

Beverly "Bet" Austin Gilbert departed this life on Monday, April 1, 2019, at the age of 61 years, 6 months, and 21 days. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on September 11, 1957, the daughter of the late Ralph Cass Austin and Erie Gennette Baldwin Austin Brown.

Beverly lived in Savannah, Tennessee for over 30 years. She was a great person, very intelligent, loved by everyone, and one people called for help. Beverly enjoyed crocheting, was great at making cakes, especially wedding cakes, and was a very talented cook.

She is survived by her sons, Jonathan Roberts and his wife Gina of Savannah, Tennessee, and Stephen Roberts and his wife Paula of St. Louis, Missouri; grandchildren, Dustin Talley, Dylan Talley, Rachel Roberts, Austin Roberts, Justin Roberts, Ashley Johnson and her husband Chaz, James Coatney, and Eric Coatney; great grandchildren, Valynn Johnson, Lucas Johnson, Connor Johnson, Jase Talley, and Soren Talley; sisters, Patsy Settler and her husband Bahman of Petersburg, Tennessee, and Susan Neill and her husband Jeff of Savannah, Tennessee; and her world her dog, Hercules.

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Stephen Austin and her step father, Lawrence Earl Brown.
