BEVERLY LOTT FREEMAN
Milledgeville, TN: Beverly Ann Lott Freeman, age 65 passed away January 24, 2013 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born in McNairy County, the daughter of the late Jarmon Ova and Bessie Beatrice Williams Lott. She graduated Chester County High School in 1965. She married Gerald Raymond Freeman June 29, 1963. She traveled with her husband in construction. She received her Associate Degree from Oak Park Community College in Oak Park, IL and received her Bachelor’s Degree from Freed-Hardeman University in 1982 and her Master’s Degree from Emporia State University in 1985. She returned to her home town in Milledgeville in 1985. She worked with the Tennessee Opportunity Program in support of the elderly. She retired in 1993 to take care of her mother. She did volunteer work with the Enville Community Center. Mr. Freeman passed away April 30, 2003.
Beverly spent a lot of time doing family history and helped contribute to the Chester County Family History Book. She had a book published about the Lott family history and she enjoyed quilting and her cats.
She is survived by two daughters, Christina Parrott and husband Timothy of Jackson, TN and Sharon Pounders and husband Anthony of Horner Path, SC; a son, Kenneth Raymond Freeman and wife Amanda of Cabo, TN; six grandchildren, Justin, Joshua, Isaac, Rebecca, Bethany and Jo Anna and one great granddaughter, Roxanne and a sister, Betty Lott McGill of Knoxville, TN.
