Betty Lou Woodward
July 21, 1934 — September 30, 2007
She was born and reared in Mjishawaka, Indiana the daughter of the late Lester Nelson and Susie Mae Tippett Kraus. She was married to David Woodward in 1953 and they lived in Indiana, where Mr. Woodward was a contractor and farmer. They moved to Chester County in the 70's. Mr. Woodward died in 2003.
She is survived by two adopted daughters, Lucy and Pearl and five sisters, Bertha Alford of Tucson, Arizona, Edith Penrose of Tucson, Arizona, Maxine Householder of Truman, AR, Linda Ricketts of Bangor, MI and Pauline Simms of Finger, TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Woodward in 2003; 3 brothers, Johnny Nelson Kraus, Richard Kraus and Paul Kraus and also a sister, Janet Lee Brown.
