Betty Ann Williams, a loving housewife and devoted homemaker, left this world on February 9, 2025, at the age of 64, in Jackson, Tennessee. Born on June 6, 1960, in Shelby County, Tennessee, Betty lived most of her life in Jackson, with some time spent in West Memphis, Arkansas.
Betty's faith as a Baptist was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her through challenges and filling her days with hope and positivity. She was a woman who radiated warmth and kindness, touching the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her greatest joys came from her beloved family and friends, whom she cherished deeply. Betty had an infectious spirit, always seeking opportunities to enjoy life to the fullest, especially when music filled the air.
She is survived by her daughter, Crystal Singleton and Stacy of Marion, AR, as well as her precious grandchildren, Anna, Hailey, Talon, and Ethan Singleton. These beloved family members were the light of her life, and she poured her heart into nurturing and encouraging them.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Lee Williams in 2009, her parents, Wallace D. and Mary Smith Kolwyck, and her dear brother, Wallace "Bunk" Kolwyck. Their love and guidance shaped her into the wonderful woman she became, and their memories continued to bring her comfort and strength throughout her life.
In remembering Betty, we celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and a passionate spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of happiness and devotion that will continue to inspire those who were lucky enough to share in her journey.
