Betty Jean Wilkerson

Betty Jean Wilkerson was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on August 9, 1958, daughter to the late Edward and Margie Grimes Wilkerson. She departed this life on March 14, 2015 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 56 years, 7 months, and 5 days.

Mrs. Wilkerson was employed as a machine operator at Trimatic Spring Company. In the past, she was also employed at Parris Manufacturing, Truform, Loredo in Wayne County, and Cross Country Apparel. Betty was a member of the Covey Chapel Church and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Terry Jenkins and Alice Jenkins, both of Savannah, Tennessee; three sisters, Sandra DeShazier and Virginia Stricklin, both of Savannah, Tennessee and Wendy Wheeler of Michie, Tennessee; two brothers, Bobby Wilkerson and Jimmy Wilkerson, both of Savannah, Tennessee; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by one brother James Carroll Wilkerson.
