On December 25, 1954 she was united in marriage to Roy M. Thompson, who survives. Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker.
She departed this life on March 1, 2007 at her residence in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 68 years, 9 months and 27 days.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband, Roy M. Thompson of Savannah, Tennessee;
four daughters: Theresa Thompson, Lisa Thompson and Lori Thompson, all of Memphis, Tennessee and Vickey Ritter of Clarendon, Arkansas;
eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one brother: Jimmy Duke of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by two sons: Mike Thompson and Jeff Thompson; a granddaughter, Dana; and one brother, Lamar Duke.
