Betty Sue Tull Price was born November 27, 1930 in Bethel Springs, TN the daughter of the late Noelion and Ruby Maxedon Tull. She graduated from Bethel High School.
She was united in marriage to Ernest David Price on October 10, 1947.
Betty along with her husband, Ernest owned and operated Price Sawmill since 1956. She loved each employee and thought of them as family. She loved interacting with the many customers that passed through their doors. After retiring, she continued to go to the sawmill daily just to see everyone but mostly to play with Stella, her great granddaughter. They enjoyed coloring and playing dolls together. She adored her new great grandson, Andy. She loved to play Rook, Scrabble and work crossword puzzles.
She was a member of Buena Vista United Methodist Church, McNairy County Forest Landowners Association and Tennessee Forestry Association. She had also worked at Brown Shoe Company.
Mrs. Price departed this life on October 1, 2015 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 84 Years, 10 Months, 4 Days. She is survived by her husband, Ernest Price of Selmer, TN; a son, Keith Price and wife Jo Doris of Selmer, TN; a daughter, Vickie Archer and husband Brian of Selmer, TN; a brother, Leo J. Tull Sr. and wife Quinice of Selmer, TN; two grandchildren, Mollie Suzanne Russell and Christopher Grey Russell; two great grandchildren, Stella Adysyn Russell and Anderson Grey Russell; special family members, Ricky Russell and Phyllis Tull.
In addition to her parents, Mrs Price was preceded in death by a sister, Oleta (Tull) Ingle; a brother, Richard E. (Dick) Tull.
