Betty Steely

Betty Steely was born in Wayne County, Tennessee on January 10, 1946 the daughter of Flora Jane Hinton McFall and the late Hassell Tony McFall.Mrs. Steely had worked as an oiler at Yellow Creek Nuclear Plant. She enjoyed singing and dancing. She was a good cook and a great mother. She was an easy going and a happy person, always ready to help others.Mrs. Steely departed this life on Monday, October 13, 2008 at the age of 62 years, 9 months, 3 days.In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter: Cindy Steely of Savannah, Tennessee; 2 sons: Phillip Steely and Greg Steely both of Savannah, Tennessee; 4 sisters: Ellen Stricklin, Robbie McFall, Glenda Steely, and Nelda Franks all of Savannah, Tennessee; 2 brothers: Thomas McFall of Savannah, Tennessee and Virgil McFall of Selmer, Tennessee; 4 grandchildren: Phillip Jr. Steely, Dalton Steely, Tallen Carden, and Khloe Steely; 1 great-grandchild: Tracey Lynn Steely.In addition to her father, Mrs. Steely was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wayne Steely, who preceded her in death on January 26, 1991, and a brother: Paul McFall.
