Betty Sue Rickman was born April 1, 1937 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late James Elmer and Nettie Jewel Clifton Sweat.
She was united in marriage to Wesley Rickman.
Mrs. Rickman was a member of the Landmark Pentecostal Church, worked at the hospital in Selmer in the housekeeping department and formerly worked at Garan Sportswear in Adamsville, TN.
Mrs. Rickman departed this life on September 7, 2006 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 69 Years, 5 Months, 6 Days. She is survived by husband Wesley Rickman of Savannah TN; four daughters Donna Kay Parrot of Adamsville TN, Kathy McCain of Michie TN, Lauretta Darnell of Savannah TN, and Cynthia Louise Mitchell of Adamsville TN; one son Anthony Rickman of Stantonville; two brothers Paul David Sweat of Adamsville TN and J. W. Sweat of Fairfiled IL; two sisters Evelyn Jones of Adamsville TN and Ella Mae Martin of Stantonville TN; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five step grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Rickman was preceded in death by her parents James Elmer and Nettie Jewel Clifton Sweat; three sisters Ottie Mae Martin, Tennie Leona Sweat, and Hattie Elizabeth Sweat; one brother James Elmer Sweat,Jr.; grandchildren Ashley Gail Parrott and Bobby Gene Scott.
