Betty Joyce Casteel Rich

Memorial Services for Betty Joyce Turnbow Casteel Rich, age 63, of Waynesboro,TN will be Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 5:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Waynesboro, TN with Jim Kayler, David Kinglsey, Jimmy Turnbow, and Steven Turnbow officiating with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Her remains were cremated. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 20, 2008 from 3:00-5:00 pm at the funeral home. She died at Wayne Care Nursing Home in Waynesboro, TN on Monday, March 17, 2008.



Mrs. Rich, a native of Wayne County, TN, was born on December 14, 1944 in Waynesboro, TN to her birth parents, the late James Floyd and Annetta Bundrant Turnbow. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gaynes H. “Shorty” Rich, her daddy, Clovis Riley, and son, Randy Casteel.



Betty was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Rotary Club, and the Wayne County Republican Women. She had been

employed as a secretary with JTPA for 14 years, was co-owner of H.C.G, and had worked at the Bank of Waynesboro earlier in her career.



Survivors, daughters, Lisa Casteel Morton and husband, Gary, Paige Casteel Jackson and husband, Chris, Amanda Rich Curry and husband, Cody; step-daughters, Gina Rich Skelton and husband, Tim, Deadra Rich Keaton and husband, Ryan; grandchildren, Drew Casteel, Betthany Franks, Hayden Franks, Preston Casteel, Garin Morton; step-grandchildren, Brandon and Samantha Skelton, Gaynes and Jacquelyn Keaton, Jada Jackson; mother, Imogene "Doe" Riley Bundrant, all of Waynesboro, TN; brother, James T. "Pete" Turnbow, Collinwood,TN; nephews, Jimmy Turnbow and Steven Turnbow
