BETTY SUE PLUNK

Henderson, TN: Betty Sue Cummings Logan Plunk age 78, passed away Tuesday morning January 23, 2018 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

She was born September 29, 1939 in Chester County, the daughter of the late Norman D. Clifton Cummings and Mamie Mary Elizabeth Alexander Cummings Austin. She attended Chester County Schools. She married Johnie Wayne Plunk in 1963. They made their home in Henderson since 1968 where Mr. Plunk worked as an electrical inspector for the State of Tennessee and she was a homemaker.

She loved to crochet and enjoyed watching her grandsons play baseball, sewing and watching game shows on TV.

Mrs. Plunk is survived by her husband, Johnie Wayne Plunk of Henderson; two daughters, Sandra Bethea and Sherry Harrison both of Henderson; a stepson, Rex Plunk of Henderson; nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; two brothers, H.C. Cummings of Enville and David Austin of Jackson and two sisters, Ruby Jeter of Jackson and Linda King of Munford.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Anthony Logan in 2000.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Friday, January 26, 2018 at Henderson City Cemetery with Bro. Ronnie Geary officiating.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
