Betty Jean Pace

Betty Jean Pace was born June 21, 1935 in Bethel Springs, TN the daughter of the late Charles Grady and Zettie Elizabeth Forsythe Saxton.

She was united in marriage to Charles Earl Pace on September 24, 1966. Mr. Pace preceded her in death on September 20, 1988, following 22 years of marriage.

Mrs. Pace was a loving homemaker for her family. She enjoyed vegetable gardening, solving crossword puzzles, and reading, especially her Bible and the local newspapers. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Bethel Springs, TN.

Mrs. Pace departed this life on December 30, 2021 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 86 Years, 6 Months, 9 Days. She is survived by three brothers: Paul Saxton of Bethel Springs, TN, Johnnie Saxton and wife Geneva of Farmington, MS, and Thomas Saxton of Bethel Springs, TN; and many extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Pace was preceded in death by three brothers: Alva Dean Saxton, Charles Saxton, and Bruce Saxton; a sister, Lue Dean Collins; and a half-brother, Virgil King.
