Betty Lucille Hufschild McGrath
was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan on November 7, 1936 the daughter of the late Arthur Otto and Edna Louise Shramm Hufschild.
Betty was a bus driver for the Stevensville School System for 25 years and the Hardin County School System for 12 years. She was a member of Greener Pastures Ministries-Cowboy Church in Counce, Tennessee. Betty enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, knitting, crocheting, making flower arrangements for her home, working in her garden, and watching hummingbirds. She loved her dog, Katie and cats, Baby Cat and Pooh and loved to sit outside and watch the donkey and sheep.
She departed this life on Thursday, July 1, 2021 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 84 years, 7 months and 24 days.
Betty is survived by her children, Lyn Cunningham of Adamsville, Tennessee and Michael David Peckham and his wife Stephanie of Oklahoma; grandchildren, George Thomas Wallace and his wife Susie, Michael David Peckham, Jr., and Michael David Cunningham and his wife Amber; great grandchildren, Tabitha, Kimber, Autumn, and Dixie; and one sister, Edna Rose Willming of Berrien Springs, Michigan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Thomas James McGrath; one son, Blair Vernon Peckham; grandchildren, Jason Peckham, Amanda Wallace, and Kyle Matthew Peckham; and son in law Bill Cunningham.
