Betty McAfee was born September 20, 1943 in Alcorn County, MS, the daughter of the late Arch Spears and Elva Beavers Spears. She departed this life on December 20, 2023 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 80 Years, 3 Months.
Betty graduated from Corinth High School. After graduating she went to work for South Central Bell until they closed the doors. Then she went to work at APEC before retiring.
She is survived by two sister-in-laws, Geneva Spears and Diane Spears; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Jamie McAfee; a son, Tracy McAfee; two brothers, Willard and Bobby Spears.
