BETTY MALLETTE
was born in Woodland, Alabama on January 23, 1926 the daughter of the late Robert Young and Gussie Olga Adams Spradlin.
On March 1, 1946 she was united in marriage Jack C. Mallette, who preceded his wife in death on November 25, 2006.
Mrs. Mallette was a homemaker and she was a gifted seamstress. She loved gardening and loved her flowers. Mrs. Mallette most of all enjoyed cooking Sunday lunch for her entire family, which she did for over 40 years. She was a charter member of Crump First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Mallette departed this life on March 2, 2016 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 90 years, 1 month and 8 days.
She is survived by her children, Michael Spradlin and his wife Laura of Savannah, Tennessee, Dan Mallette and his wife Diane of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Ramona Wilkerson and her husband Ronnie of Savannah, Tennessee, Don Mallette and his wife Denise of Jackson, Tennessee, Karl Mallette of Crump, Tennessee and Marie Hurst and her husband Terry of Selmer, Tennessee.

Mrs. Mallette is also survived by two longtime friends, Jo Swift and Virginia Snodgrass
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Spradlin, Jr. and Danny Spradlin and one sister, Margie Wilson.
