Betty Jean Galloway Lovelady, 80, of Bolivar, died Wednesday morning, June 8, 2005 at Bolivar General Hospital.
The widow of Raymond C. Lovelady, Sr., who died November 22, 2000 after 57 ears of marria e she was a homemaker. Mrs. Lovelady was born December 4, 1924 in Ft. Worth, Texas and had lived in this area since 1970. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bolivar and was active in the Golden Sounds Choir and senior programs.
Graveside services were 11AM Friday, June 10, 2005 at Bolivar Memorial Cemetery with Dr. Ernest E. James officiating. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar were in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Carothers of Dallas, Tex.; one son, Ray Lovelady of Hickory Valley; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
