Betty Ann King age 77 of Selmer, TN, was born on May 19, 1945 in McNairy County, TN, to the late Virgil King and Lemmie Brown King.
She was united in marriage to Curtis Henry King on April 15, 1989. Mr. King preceded her in death on August 15, 2020.
Betty was a great cook who enjoyed sewing, gardening, and being with family. When she was able, she attended the Locke Road Baptist Church. She passed from this life on September 13, 2022 in Adamsville, TN.
Betty is survived by two daughters, Penny and Patty King; six grandchildren: John Hanks (Misty), Amanda Hanks (Jamie), Caleb Brewer (Kelsey), Shelby Bingham (Colt), Nicholas Childress (Samantha), Jessie Lambert (Logan); ten great grandchildren; siblings: Lola Boyle, Junior Edward King, Linda Miller, Judy Brigman; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Kyle; and siblings: James Carl King, Thomas Ray King, Nancy Jackson, Ricky King and Larry Gene King.
