Betty Sue Kernodle Johnson was born January 27, 1932 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee the daughter of the late Albine and Myrtle Robinson Kernodle.Ms. Johnson Retired from Brown Shoe Company and was a member of the First Baptist ChurchShe departed this life on September 8, 2006 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 7 Months, 12 Days.Ms. Johnson is survived by two daughters Patsy Pearson and husband Terry of Ramer, TN and Cindy Smith and husband Paul of Savannah, TN; one son, Jeff Johnson of Bethel Springs, TN; four sisters, Maggie May of Selmer, TN, Mae Ola Whitten of Selmer, TN, Martha Nell Crowe of Bethel Springs, TN and Alice Chandler of Memphis, TN; four grandchildren, Mary Beth Pearson, Julie Skinner, Betsy Johnson and Hannah McClearen; and 2 Great Grandchildren.Ms. Johnson is preceded in death by her parents, Albine and Myrlte Kernodle; three sisters, Minnie Baucum, Loreda Tull and Daphine Gilbert; and one brother, John David Kernodle.Services will be held on September 11, 2006 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer, Selmer, Tennessee, with Phillip Moore officiating. Burial to follow in Lake Hill Memorial Gardens at Bethel Springs, Tennessee.
