Betty Jean Hutcherson

Betty Jean Johnson Hutcherson Betty Jean Johnson Hutcherson was born in Chester County the daughter of the late Albert and Bertha Lee Newman Johnson . She graduated from Chester County High School in 1948, and was married to W.K. "Bub" Hutcherson on September 12, 1954. They had made their home in Finger since that time. Mrs. Hutcherson was employed by Salant & Salant Shirt Factory for thirty five years. She was raised at the Estes church of Christ and moved her membership to the Finger Congregation in 1977. She was also a member of the McNairy County Senior Citizens in Adamsville. She enjoyed yard work, gardening , sewing, playing bingo with the Finger Bingo Club, reading and working word puzzles. Mrs Hutcherson was a very strong person and kept her faith in God, inspite of three tragic losses in her life, her daughter Jenny Lee Hutcherson in 1971, her husband "Bub" in 1982 and her Son Sammy in 1983.





She leaves a daughter Kathy A. Brown (Bobby) of Finger, one son Barry Hutcherson (Sherry) of Henderson, a daughter in law Rhonda Hemby(Tim) whom has remained very close to her after the death of her son and Rhonda's husband , Sammy Hutcherson. She also leaves grandchildren, Katrece Brown (Dennis), Michelle Brown Jaquez (Arturo), Jennifer Franzen (Karl) and Hayley Hutcherson. Great grandchildren Kyle Brown, Kasey Morris, Khloe Jane Franzen, who is due in 47 days. Very close friends Faye Curry Beene, Jason, Lisa, and Addison Grace Stanley. Also those that consider Betty as their Nanny, Grant and Drew Hemby , Celinda and Alexis Davidson, Kendal and Karlie Morris. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Jo Naylor and Helen Thomas, and one brother Manley Johnson
