Betty McClain Hunt
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on August 11, 1954 the daughter of the late James Verbal and Willie Mae Brown McClain.
Betty worked as an inspector for Kay Windsor Manufacturing Company. She had also worked for Parris Manufacturing, Shaw's Motel and Cherry's Truck Stop. Betty was a member of the H. E. T. Club. She loved to eat and spend time with her family.
Betty departed this life on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 66 years, 8 months and 2 days.
She is survived by her children, Sharon Brown and her husband Tony of Adamsville, Tennessee, Lisa Cooper and her husband Charles of Savannah, Tennessee, and Wendy Presley and her husband Rodney of Adamsville, Tennessee; a special nephew, Johnny (B.B.) Mullins, whom she raised as one of her own; life partner, Dwight (Trickey Dick) Wilkerson of Crump, Tennessee; grandchildren, Britaney Cox and her husband Donavon, Lareia Risner, Cody Qualls, and Joel Presley; great grandchildren, Brooklynn Presley, Emma Grace Risner, Liberty Presley, and Alyvia Cox; brother, Jack McClain and his wife Tina of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Cherry Craig and her husband Keith of Florence, Alabama, and Darlene McClain of Adamsville, Tennessee; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy Rena Hunt, grandson, Ronald Presley, and grand dog, Lilly Mae.
