Betty Fluty
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on October 9, 1928 the daughter of the late Jay and Mazie Franks Shull.
On June 28, 1946 she was united in marriage to Dexter Howard Bowling, who preceded her in death in 1965. On March 23, 1968, she married Gaylon Fluty, who also preceded her in death on March 16, 1999. During her life, Mrs. Fluty worked as a machine operator with Clifton Manufacturing Company.
She departed this life on May 28, 2006 at Tri-County Convalescent Home in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 77 years, 7 months and 19 days.
Mrs. Fluty is survived by 3 sisters: Margaret White of Savannah, Tennessee,
Ruby Baugus of Crump, Tennessee and Emma Lois McCoy of Memphis, Tennessee; and one brother, James Robert Shull of Savannah, Tennessee.
She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters: Christine White and Juanita Dowdy.
