BETTY SUE (BET) FALLS
of Savannah, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019 at Hardin Medical Center at the age of 71 years, 4 months and 7 days.
She was born on January 17, 1948 in Savannah, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Wilbert Oliver Falls and Dorothy Woody Falls Bryant.
Betty worked in Tarpon Springs, Florida for many years at Pappas Greek Restaurant and in the security office at Innisbrook Golf Resort, where she learned to play golf. After moving back to Tennessee, she was employed at Dollar General Stores.
Her favorite pastime was working in her flower garden. She also loved taking care of her pets, dogs and cats, and was a supporter of humane treatments of animals.
Betty is survived by her sisters, Glenda Falls Bolton Piazza and husband Felix of Morris Chapel, Tennessee and Shirley Falls Ferrell and Bob McGonigal of Tullahoma, Tennessee; two nephews, Jon Tracy Bolton of Savannah, Tennessee and Marty L. Bolton of Atoka, Tennessee; great niece,Chandler Bolton and great nephew, Addison Bolton, both of Atoka, Tennessee; and her good friends from school and her special friend, James Wilkerson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her infant daughter, Leevelyn Faye.
