Betty Ruth Cupples

Mrs. Cupples died Sunday morning at Bolivar General Hospital.
She was the widow of James Edward Cupples who died Dec. 7, 1985 and daughter of the late C. F. and Louetta Hardee McCarver. She was a correctional officer with CCA and worked at Hamon Automotive from 1977-98 and at Kilgore before that.
She leaves two daughters, Jackie Cupples of Selmer and Angela Henderson of Jackson; two sons, James Edward Cupples, Jr. of Toone and Marcus Lee Cupples of Bolivar; two sisters, Louise Whaley of Jackson and Florence Cleek of Toone; a brother, Junior McCarver of Bethel Springs; four grandchildren; one step grandchild and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy & Odel McCarver and a Sister, Loudell Hammers.
