Bessie Mae Byzet

Bessie Mae Byzetwas born in Wayne County, Tennessee on December 11, 1920 the daughter of George Leonard and Ora Armentha Catherine Johnson Melson.On July 7, 1959 she was united in marriage to James D. Byzet, who preceded her in death on May 5, 1981.Ms. Byzet worked for United Methodist Publishing House in Nashville, Tennessee before retiring. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, flowers, and reading. She was of United Methodist belief.Ms. Byzet departed this life on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at the age of 87 years, 7 months, 12 days.Ms. Byzet is survived by a niece: Elaina Springer; five nephews: Frank Berry, Danny Melson, Lancie Melson, Ronnie Melson, and David Droke.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded her in death by three sisters: Marie Berry, Louise Droke, and Ina K. Melson; two brothers: Wayne Melson and Frank Melson.
