BERTIE LOISE TIDWELL

Selmer, TN: Bertie Loise Tidwell age 90, passed away January 1, 2024, at AHC McNairy Healthcare.

She was born June 2, 1933, in McNairy County, the daughter of the late David and Lulua Ann Smith.

Mrs. Tidwell is survived by a son, Johnny Tidwell, III of Henderson; grandchildren, Joshua Parker, Joey Parker, Kylan Murphy, John Wesley Tidwell, IV, April Dawn Wilson, Zoey Kaneer and Heaven Leigh Smith.

She loved her family and especially her grandchildren.     

She loved going to church. She was a member of the New Friendship Baptist Church where she helped teach Sunday School and was very involved at church. She never met a stranger.

She was a hard worker. She worked in a sewing factory until her children were born, she then stayed home and cooked and canned.

She will be joining in heaven, her parents, her husband, John Tidwell, Jr.; a son, Tim Smith; a daughter, Jackie Lynn McAnn, a grandson, Korbin Bryce Kaneer, five brothers and two sisters.

There will be no services.
