Bertie Kirk

Bertie Miles Kirk was born November 29, 1907 in Mississippi the daughter of the late Charles Walter LeRoy and Emma Bell Miles. She was united in marriage to Lee Roy Kirk on June 19, 1928. Mr. Kirk preceded her in death on December 25, 1988.Along with her husband, Mrs. Kirk was a former owner and operator of Kirk\'s Kafe in Selmer. She was a member of the Selmer First Baptist Church. Mrs. Kirk departed this life on February 5, 2006 in Kent, Ohio at the age of 98 Years, 2 Months, 7 Days. She is survived by a daughter, B. Inez Robinson and husband Jim of Stow, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Kirk of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Kirk was also preceded in death by a son, William L. Kirk.
