Jacks Creek, TN: Bertie Marie Irvin Burkeen, age 78 passed away January 26, 2013 at the Henderson Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Jimmy and Ethel Irvin. She was married to R.B. Burkeen. She was a homemaker and a Baptist in Belief. Mrs. Burkeen enjoyed her grandchildren and working crossword puzzles.
She is survived by a son, Chris Burkeen of Luray; two grandchildren, Jeff Ervin and Lisa White; four great grandchildren, Hannah, Emily, Colton and Peyton; two sisters, Youvon Presley of Sardis and Glenda Pusser of Jackson and a brother, Leon Ervin of Scotts Hill.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, R.B. Burkeen in 1999.
