Bertha Gilchrist McClintock, 92, of Bolivar, died Sunday, March 5, 2006 at her daughter’s home in Memphis.
The widow of Everette William McClintock, who died in June 1974, she was a nursing technician at Western State. Mrs. McClintock was born April 24, 1913 in McNairy County, daughter of the late Homer and Mary Tennyson Gilchrist and lived in Hardeman County all of her life. She was a member of Hornsby Methodist Church.
Services were 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Orville McMahan officiating. Burial was in Hatchie Cemetery near Hornsby.
Survivors include two daughters, Wilda White of Memphis and Fayrene Galbraith of Henderson; three sons, Royce McClintock of Brentwood, Dwight McClintock of Cottontown and Douglas A. McClintock of Jackson; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
