Bertha Odessa Holder

She was born in Madison County, the daughter of the late Truman (E.T.) and Madga Snyder Murchison. She was married to Cecil B. Holder in 1927. She was employed at Salant & Salant Mfg. and Oakley Fashions in Jackson and retired in 1975. She was a member of the Bear Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Holder died in 1978.



Survivers are daughters, Betty Jean Melton of Beech Bluff and Sylvia Spradlin of Luray; two sons, Wendell D. Holder of Jackson and Joe Holder of Medon; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; a sister, Lillian Sisson of Jackson and a brother, Walter Murchison of Waco, TX.
