Bernice Ann Vitek

Bernice Ann Vitek was born in Wahoo, Nebraska on July 18, 1935 the daughter of Lillian Simpson Jurgensen and the late Benjamin JurgensenOn January 8, 1955 she was united in marriage to Martin Andrew Vitek, who preceded her in death on July 12, 1998.During her life she had worked as a waitress for many years. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church. She loved knitting, cross-stitching, gardening, and caring for others.Mrs. Vitek departed this life on December 26, 2007 at the age of 72 years, 5 months, 8 days.In addition to her mother she is survived by a daughter: Marcia Bain of Knoxville, Tennessee; 4 sons: Martin Andrew Vitek II of Glendale, Arizona, Matthew John Vitek of Casa Grande, Arizona, Michael Anthony Vitek of Ft. Irwin, California, David Lee Vitek of Corpus Christi, Texas; 2 brothers: Donald Jurgensen and Benjamin Jurgensen, Jr. both of Sedalia, Missouri; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.In addition to her father and husband she was preceded in death by a son: Daniel Leon Vitek; a brother: Arnold Jurgensen.
