Bernice Elizabeth Martin

On Sunday, October 30, 2022, Bernice Stewart Martin, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away at the age of 82.

Bernice was born on August 17, 1940 in Stantonville, TN to Tommy and Dora Stewart.

On November 28, 1963 she married the love of her life, Frank. They were married for 56 years. Frank and Bernice raised one daughter. Sandra Martin Fowler.

Throughout Bernice's life her greatest joy came through her love of her family. Sandra married Charles Fowler and gave her two granddaughters Anna and Sarah, whom she treasured. The joy continued with the addition of her great grandson Charles Patrick Mullins, her great granddaughter Lucy McRae Mullins and the much anticipated third great grandchild due in May 2023.

Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, her father Tommy Stewart, mother Dora Stewart, sister Lois Rickman and brother Troy Stewart.

She is survived by her daughter Sandra Fowler (Charles), two granddaughters Anna Mullins (Justin) and Sarah Doss (Bryan), one great grandson Charlie, one great granddaughter Lucy and one great grandchild due in May.
