Benny Mike Hammock

was born in Counce, Tennessee on October 8, 1944, the son of the late Dick and Charlie Daisey Barnett Hammock.

Benny served his country proudly in the United States Army and was a member of the VFW. After serving his country, he worked as a truck driver in the construction industry . In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Benny departed this life on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 80 years, 3 months, and 18 days. 

He is survived by his children, Michael Hammock and his wife Melissa, and Kelly Haggard and her husband Terry; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Benny was preceded in death by his brothers, Buddy Hammock, David E. Hammock, and Sherman Hammock; and sisters, Nannie Tingle and Evelyn Mitchell.
