Benjamin Kyle (Ben) Tucker, of Hornsby, passed from this life at the age of 29 years. Ben was born on Thursday, December 3, 1992 to Doyle Lynn and Linda Fay Kirby Tucker, in Memphis, TN. He was a graduate of Bolivar Central High School, Class of 2011. Ben's lifelong dream was to work in a sawmill and he became a skilled saw operator. He lived in Jackson, TN for a short time then moved back to the Hornsby area where he was most recently employed by Stan Howell. He had also worked at Common Grounds Cafe and Co where he became a bistro and cook. He loved working with wood, the smells of the different woods, and the feel of the wood in his hands. Ben enjoyed listening to classic rock and named his son after one of his favorite bands. He and his dad enjoyed watching movies together, particularly westerns. A Baptist in belief, he attended Hornsby Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he leaves behind a son, Marshall Lee Tucker of Hornsby; a half-sister Cindy Tucker Duckworth of Louisiana; two nephews, Patrick Ray of Memphis and Alexander Alden of Collierville; cousins Angela Jackson and her husband Jody of Bolivar, David Pierce and his wife Tina of Hornsby, and Jim Pierce and his wife Jennifer of Medon; and his aunt, Gay Pierce of Hornsby. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Charles and Dorothy Watson; paternal grandparents, Grady and Dorothy Tucker; and his beloved brother Joseph Ray.
