Benjamin Kelly "Ben" McDonald, 16, of Middleton, died Sunday,
March 20, 2005 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Born November 12, 1988, in Jackson, Tenn., son of David Randle
McDonald, Sr. of Middleton and Judy Lannette Howell Laughlin of
Bolivar, he was a 9th grade student at Middleton High School.
Benjamin was active in American Cancer Society's Relay for Life Camp Horizon in Nashville, Tenn., Sunshine Kids Network of Houston, Tex. and was a member of Porter's Creek Baptist Church near Middleton.
Services were 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 22 at Porter's Creek Baptist
Church with Adrian Knipper officiating. Burial was in Porter's Creek
Baptist Cemetery near Middleton. Shackelford Funeral Directors of
Bolivar were in charge of arrangements.
In addition to his parents, survivors include one brother, Davy
McDonald of Middleton; stepfather, Leon Laughlin of Bolivar; and
grandparents, Dora Howell & "PapaW'Steve Pulse, both of Middleton, David & Marie McDonald of Middleton, and Margie & Autry Jones of Parsons. He was preceded in death by grandfather, Donald Howell.
