Belvia Marie Calvery Bowers was born December 12, 1923 in Kossuth, Mississippi the daughter of the late Ed and Clister Malone Calvery. Ms. Bowers was Retired from Brown Shoe Company where she worked for 39 years and a Member of the First Bapist Church in Michie, TN.She departed this life on April 8, 2006 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 3 Months, 27 Days.Ms. Bowers is survived by, a Son, Sam Bowers of Michie, TN, a Sister, Louvenia Calvery Smith and husband Thomas of Kossuth, Mississippi, a Granddaughter, Cheryl Bowers Dietrich and husband David of Jackson, Tennessee, a Grandson, John Bowers and wife Karen of Ramer, Tennessee, three Great Grandchildren, Jacob Dietrich, Seth Bowers and Sophie Bowers.Ms. Bowers is preceded in death by, her husband, Cecil Bowers, her parents, Ed and Clister Malone Calvery, and a Brother, Howard Bowers.
