Beatrice Young

Ms. Young died at Bolivar General Hospital. She formerly worked at the Armira Corporation, Quik Stop 2000 and KFC. She was born in Hardeman County, daugter of the late Stat and Mary Cupples Young and lived all of her life here. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.



Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Rhonda and Steven Hooper, Mary and Mark Newbill, all of Jackson; five sisters, Margaret Crawford, Sue Thearp and Helen Wiggins, all of Bolivar, Lois Hyman of Jackson and Faye Hezeau of Slidell, La.; three brothers, Howard Young of Toone, Dewey Young of Henderson and Carey Young of Trumbull, Conn.; two grandchildren, Haleigh and Grant Hooper; and was loved by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Ann Knight and a brother, Harold Young.
