Beatrice Churchwell Overmanwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on May 27, 1913 the daughter of the late William Bingham and Haley Morris Huckabee. Proceeded in death by husband's Paulis E. Churchwell and Boyd Overman. Mother of Teddy Ross, Reggie Merrell, Dennis Von, Paula Etta (deceased) and Kennie Van (deceased). Grandmother to ten and great-grandmother of eight.During her 95 years on this earth she, in addition to being a wife to two husband's, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, a sister to two deceased brother's Earl and Thurl Reddin and one sister Virginia Huckabee Rankin of Southhaven, Mississippi, she has been a doctor's assistant, a published and recorded poet, a merchant, factory worker, worm farmer and a friend to all. For years she was active in the Eastern Star.She was a student of the late Dr. Norman Vincent Peel and a believer and practitioner in his "ThePowerofPositiveThinking". She was a founding member of the Milledgeville Methodist Church in Milledgeville, Tennessee where she resided. Armed with her devout Christian beliefs and the practicing of "ThePowerofPositiveThinking" she has been a motivator and inspiration to her family, friends and many more she has met along her journey from the cradle to the grave.
