BARNEY YOUNG
Was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on July 30, 1920 the son of the late Isom and Effie Baugus Young.
On August 13, 1938 he was united in marriage to the former Ruth Yancey, who survives.
Mr. Young retired from Handley Construction Company. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II. Mr. Young was a member of East End United Methodist Church.
He departed this life on May 4, 2006 at the Hardin County Nursing Home in Savannah at the age of 85 years, 9 months and 4 days.
Other than his wife, Ruth of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by one daughter, Linda Averett Adcock of Franklin, Tennessee.
2 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren
Mr. Young was also preceded in death by one son, Dennis Wayne Young and 2 brothers, John K. Young and R. D. Young.
