BARBARA SUE WHITE





was born February 21, 1942 in Hardin County, Tennessee, daughter of Myrtle Vernice White Morris and the late Johnny Luther Morris



In April 1962 she was united in marriage to Douglas MacArthur White who preceded her in death on October 26, 1999.



Mrs. White was a retired Inspector for Savannah Manufacturing. She was a member of the Walnut Grove Church of Christ.



Mrs. White departed from this life November 21, 2008 the age of 66 years, and 9 months.



She leaves three daughters: Melba Jane Austin, Stephanie Sue McGowen, and April Denise White, all of the Walnut Grove Community.



Two sons: Douglas Ray White and Rickey Mack White, both of the Walnut Grove Community.



Eight Grandchildren: Brooke White Gray, Kelsey Rae White, Heather McGowen, Ty Austin, Haley White, Conner McGowen, Peyton White, and Caroline McGowen.



Her mother: Myrtle Vernice Morris - Savannah, Tennessee.



Four sisters: Shirley Franks and Kathy McFall, of the Walnut Grove Community, Mackie Fielder - Lutts, Tennessee, and Tera Daniels - Wayne County, Tennessee.



Two brothers: Johnny Ray Morris - Wayne County, Tennessee and Ralph David Morris of the Walnut Grove Community.Services will be held on November 23, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah, Tennessee, with David Dowdy, Howard Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery at Hardin County, Tennessee
