Barbara Ann Veach

Mrs. Barbara Ann Mardis Veach was born August 16, 1947 in Alcorn County, Mississippi the daughter of the late Jim and Leola Louise Smith Green.She was a homemaker and a member of the Concord Baptist Church.Mrs. Veach departed this life on September 5, 2005 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 58 Years and 20 Days.She is survived by her husband, Eugene Veach; daughters, Melissa Aliene Woods and Charlcy Ethel Louise Kirby and husband Franklin all of Selmer, Tennessee; Della Veach of Middleton, Tennessee; sons, William Lee Mardis and and wife Nancy of Booneville, Mississippi; David Matthew Mardis and wife Pam of Adamsville; Mancel Veach of Ramer, Tennessee; Larry Gene Veach of Brownsville, Mississippi; Larry Wayne Veach of Selmer; sisters, Katheleen Pannell of Walnut, Mississippi; Ruby Dean Smith of Ashland, Mississippi; brother, William Claude Smith of Walnut, Mississippi; eight grandchildren; niece Shirley Kathleen Copeland of Corinth, Mississippi; former husband Roy Richardson Parkerson Mardis of Bolivar, Tennessee; friends, Marvin Shults, Jackie Davis and Jerry James.Other than her parents, Mrs. Veach was preceded in death by two sons, Willie Lee Mardis and Richard Leon Mardis; two infant daughters; a sister, Dorothy Sides; and three brothers, Bobby Joe Smith, James Marlin Smith and Roy Daniel Smith.
