Barbara Cox Therrell

Barbara Cox Therrell was born July 20, 1943 in Selmer, TN the daughter of the late Elmer and Etha Ora Whitley Howell.
She was united in marriage to James Therrell on July 15, 2005.
Mrs. Therrell graduated from Selmer High School. She was employed by the McNairy County School System as a bus driver for more than 20 years. Attending yard sales and collecting antique glassware were among her favorite activities. Mrs. Therrell was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Selmer.
Mrs. Therrell departed this life on January 16, 2022 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 5 Months, 27 Days. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, James Therrell of Selmer, TN; a grandchild, Shelly Whitaker of Selmer, TN; a sister, Bobbie (Howell) Yopp and husband Gordon of Selmer, TN; a daughter-in-law, Shawn Whitaker of Selmer, TN; and many extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Therrell was preceded in death by two sons, Ricky Whitaker and Steve Whitaker, and a brother, Hannan Dean Howell.
