Barbara Williams Sanders

Barbara Williams Sanders was born on March 15, 1946 in Wayne County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Waco and Eddie Flippo Williams.

In 1985, she was united in marriage to Roy J. Sanders, who survives.

Mrs. Sanders worked as a spot welder for Mallory, Inc. She lived in Wayne County, Tennessee from 1946-1985 and Savannah, Tennessee from 1985-2022. Barbara enjoyed gardening, cooking, going to car shows, and walking her dog.

Barbara Williams Sanders departed this life on May 24, 2022 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 76 years, 2 months, and 9 days.

She is survived by her husband, Roy J. Sanders of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter, Melissa Staggs of Waynesboro, Tennessee; son, Jeff Berry of Clifton, Tennessee; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Dixon of Waynesboro, Tennessee, Sandra Williams of Alburndale, Florida, Diane Riley of Estill Springs, Tennessee, Pam Askins of Fortson, Georgia, and Teresa Kinsey of Sheffield, Alabama; brothers, Billie Williams of Waynesboro, Tennessee, Mikie Williams of Waynesboro, Tennessee, Jimmy Williams of Grenada, Mississippi, and Terry Williams of Talladaga, Alabama; and special friends, Bob and Margaret Johnson of Ittawamba, Mississippi and Larry and Glenda Arnold of Savannah, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her brothers, Lamar Williams and Thomas Williams, and sisters, Mary Dickey and Margaret Anderson.
