BARBARA REED
Henderson, TN: Barbara Diane McKenzie Reed age 77, passed away June 12, 2021 at Henderson Health & Rehabilitation.
She was born October 12, 1943 at Finger, the daughter of the late James and Lorraine Brown McKenzie. She graduated from Chester County High School in 1961. She went to Jackson State and West TN Business College. She married Danny Reed in 1961. They lived most of their married Life at Finger. She was a member of the First Baptist Church at Bethel Springs.
She worked at Bethel Springs Elementary School and later at the State Welfare Office at Selmer. She drove a school bus for McNairy County School System.
They had made their home in Henderson for the past three years.
Mrs. Reed is survived by her husband, Danny Lynn Reed; three sons, Christopher McKenzie Reed of Michie, Richard Lynn Reed of Henderson and Michael Andrew Reed of Toone; a daughter, Suzzane Hale of Henderson and eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Finger Cemetery with Bro. Don Lipford officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Finger Cemetery beginning at 9:30 AM Wednesday.
