Barbara Jean McIntosh Lutz

Barbara Jean McIntosh Lutz was born June 22, 1948 in Attoona, PA the daughter of the late Joseph and Edna Teeter McIntosh. She was united in marriage to James Lutz in October 22, 1966 and he preceded her in death on December 27, 2017. Mrs. Lutz worked in the medical field as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years. She departed this life on December 26, 2022 in Clifton, TN at her home at the age of 74 years, 6 months, and 4 days.

She is survived by a daughter, Renee Lutz of Clifton, TN; a son, Col. Reece Lutz and wife Dusty of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Dolores Earnest and husband Ronald of Pennsylvania, and Cathy McGarry and husband David of Pennsylvania; and two brothers, David McIntosh and wife Sheila of Clifton, TN, and Michael McIntosh of Virginia.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Lutz was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Dick, Carol Johnson, and Virginia Diehl; and brothers, Joseph, Paul, Clete, Will, and Rick McIntosh.

At the family has requested that Mrs. Lutz will be cremated with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
